A truly fabulous period piece of jewellery. The 1980's produced some of the finest Art Deco revival jewellery. This is one of the best examples of the Art Deco revival style I have seen in silver and marcasite set with stunning faceted crystals. A medium much beloved in the twenties and thirties the marcasite is set onto open cut work silver. It sparkles beautifully and you can see this in the video. Good quality marcasite was often referred to as black diamonds and twinned with the quality crystals in this piece it is a fantastically sparkling piece.
