Vintage artisan multi strand gemstone necklace in gilded 925 sterling silver with faceted natural gemstone beads including ruby, emerald, sapphire and quartz spaced with pretty gilded silver beads. The necklace features an ornate, lotus flower, decorative central plaque with elegant tassel drops and has strong Art Deco and Egyptian Revival influences in its design.
Beautifully made with rich jewel colours and wonderful movement, this unusual statement piece has the feel of gallery or studio jewellery rather than mass-produced costume jewellery. A striking and highly wearable vintage necklace.
Pease note I have made no attempt to clean or polish or clean the gilded parts of this lovely necklace.
