A beautifully unusual vintage sterling silver necklace in the distinctive Southwestern style associated with early Carolyn Pollack / Relios designs. This highly decorative reversible necklace is formed from articulated symbolic links featuring stylised birds, animals and sun motifs engraved with uplifting words including Wisdom, Vision, Healing, Change and Happiness.
The reverse is equally attractive, inset with colourful semi-precious stones including malachite, turquoise and coral inlay, giving the necklace two completely different looks depending on how it is worn.
Crafted with a playful artisan feel, this piece perfectly captures the spiritual and storytelling aesthetic of the latter 20th century Southwestern jewellery. The long adjustable sterling chain makes it very wearable and versatile.
