A stunning large Czech glass brooch. An oval moonstone in a brass setting studded with sparkling pink crystals.
Czech glass jewellery — often called Bohemian glass jewellery — is one of the great traditions of European costume jewellery. It originated in the historic region of Bohemia, now part of the Czech Republic, where glassmaking has been practised since at least the 13th century. Czech jewellery is especially associated with the Art Deco period (1920s–1930s).
