A striking vintage crystal brooch from The Duchess of Windsor Collection™, originally retailed by Harrods Knightsbridge and presented in its original fitted box with collection booklet and Made in England tag.
The substantial oval brooch measures approximately 2½ x 1½ inches (6.4 x 3.8 cm) and features an elegant openwork design of interlacing ribbon-like curves, richly set with sparkling clear crystals.
Finished in warm gold-tone metal, the design has the bold glamour and sophisticated styling so closely associated with the legendary jewellery taste of the Duchess of Windsor.
Dating to approximately the late 1980s, the brooch is complete with its original Harrods presentation box and accompanying collection paperwork — a particularly lovely and collectable example of vintage British costume jewellery.
